Inauguration of primary school upgraded to secondary school held in Mudalipalayam, Tirupur
Coimbatore: The inauguration ceremony of the primary school in Mudalipalayam, Tirupur was held todayas it was upgraded to a secondary school.
Ministers Senkottaiyan and Udumalai Radhakrishnan were also present.

Later, Minister Senkottaiyan told reporters that such announcements were made in the interest of the farmers and that such announcements were usually made only during election times, but the Chief Minister himself had announced them in the Assembly.
He said the 7.5 per cent reservation for school children was something that the entire India was impressed at. He also added that many projects such as kudimaramathu in drought-prone areas and Athikadavu- Avinashi project had been implemented. When questioned about reopening schools when students were being infected he answered that students should excel in education and there was no need to fear and the students can come to school.
