A total of 16 teams from various parts of the country like Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hasan, Hubli, Salem, Nashik, Kolkata and Bengaluru will be participating in this tournament.
Coimbatore: A team of 12 cricketers will be representing the International Fellowship of Cricket Loving Rotarians (IFCR) of Coimbatore Rotary Dist. 3201 for the upcoming All India IFCR Cricket Tournament - Fellowship Cup to be held in Goa from February 23-26.
A total of 16 teams from various parts of the country will be participating in this tournament. This is the first time that Rotary Dist. 3170, Goa is conducting the IFCR All India Tournament. Teams from Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hasan, Hubli, Salem, Nashik, Kolkata and Bengaluru will be participating in this tournament.
The tournament is taking place after a gap of three years with over 300 Rotarians from all across India participating.
The IFCR Coimbatore Cricket team will be led by Rtn. Sumit Kumar Prasad this year, and comprises team members Rtn. Prabhakar, Rtn.Vasant, Rtn. Srinivasan, Rtn. Manikandan, Rtn. MM Raja, Rtn. Jayaraj, Rtn. Dhanabal, Rtn. Kanan, Rtn. Mark, Rtn. Madhan and Rtn. Shylesh. The team is scheduled to leave for Goa on February 22.
