All the undergraduate and postgraduate students of the main campus participated in the Meet which was held on July 11, at the University Stadium.
Coimbatore: The Centre for Students Welfare, Physical Education Unit of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) organized the 111th Annual Sports Meet–2022 for all undergraduate and postgraduate students of the main campus on July 11, at the University Stadium.

Dr. V Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Coimbatore delivered the Presidential address and Dr. N Maragatham, Dean, Centre for Students Welfare, TNAU welcomed the gathering. The special address was delivered by the Chief Guest Dr. K Periaiah, Inspector General of Police (Rtd.). Dr. A Lakshmanan, Dean (SPGS), Dr. A Raviraj, Dean (AEC & RI), Dr. P Irene Vethamoni, Dean (Horticulture) and Dr. N Venkatesa Palanichamy, Dean (Agriculture).
The students were grouped into four houses - Orange, Red, Blue and Green. Athletic and team events such as Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Ball Badminton, Cricket etc were held over the year and the overall championship was bagged by the Blue House.
About 1200 students and 25 faculties participated in the event. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. J P Desiga Srinivasan, Assistant Director of Physical Education, TNAU, Coimbatore.
