Raha group and Alayam Trust jointly organises 3x3 League cum Knockout Basketball Tournament in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Raha group and Alayam Trust jointly organised 3x3 League cum Knockout Basketball Tournament from 25th February to 28th February 2021.
Around 120 teams participated in this national level tournament. 14 categories including u-10 boys, u-10 girls, u-13 boys/girls, u-17 boys/girls, 21+ women, u-30 en, 30+ men, 45+ veterans, open mixed, family mixed. Open mixed and family mixed are participating for the first time.
For the valedictory function, R. Chandrasekar, Founder Aalayam Trust and President - Tamil Nadu paralympics sports association was the chief guest. Lions S. Tamilmani- Managing Direct , Raha oils was the Guest of Honour. G. Selvaraj IMD, CRI pumps was the special guest for the occasion.
The spectators received lots of surprise gifts from Raha oils like gold coins, t-shirts, sarees, basketball, tennis ball and more. Apart from the players the spectators were given special prizes from Raha group by conducting lucky draws. The prizes for the players for each category were 1st prize - Rs. 5000, 2nd prize - Rs. 4000, 3rd prize - Rs. 3000 and 4th prize - Rs. 2000.
