Coimbatore: Scholarships provided for PSGR Krishnammal College students who won medals at the 64th National Schools Federation Games.
On behalf of the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority, scholarships have been announced for the students who won medals in the 64th National Schools Federation Games. Rs 2 lakh for gold medalists, Rs 1.50 lakh for silver medalists and Rs 1 lakh for bronze medalists. M. Olimba Steffi who had won a Bronze Medal in Athletics received a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
A cheque for scholarship for students was presented at an event in Coimbatore. In the students' category, cheques were presented to Vishrutha (gold in athletics) and Shivaranjani (silver in badminton) from PSGR Krishnammal College, Coimbatore.
