We have found the location of Vikram Lander in the Lunar Surface - ISRO Chief K Sivan

The loss of communication of Chandrayaan-2 Lander in the last few minutes of its landing in the moon has exasperated the nation and scientists in ISRO and across the world. And now the Orbiter of Chandrayaan-2 has located the Lander via a thermal photograph of the Lunar Surface.


The loss of communication of Chandrayaan-2 Lander in the last few minutes of its landing in the moon has exasperated the nation and scientists in ISRO and across the world. And now the Orbiter of Chandrayaan-2 has located the Lander via a thermal photograph of the Lunar Surface. 

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chief, K Sivan has said to ANI: We've found the location of Vikram Lander on lunar surface & orbiter has clicked a thermal image of Lander. But there is no communication yet. We are trying to have contact. It will be communicated soon."
