Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) J.K. Tripathy on Tuesday chaired a meeting for top police officers in Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and The Nilgiris on the preparedness for the Assembly elections. The meeting was held at the Police Guest House where Inspector General of Police (for Welfare) Davidson Devasirvatham, police commissioners and deputy commissioners of the Coimbatore and Tirupur city units and the Superintendents of Police of the four districts in Coimbatore Range participated.
