Injured foreign national taken to Bengaluru


French national Cameroon, who was admitted to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital after he suffered a fracture on his shoulder and an injury on his head after accidentally falling down from a moving train on Tuesday, was taken to Bengaluru by his daughter Zona on Wednesday. Hospital Dean A. Edwin Joe said that his condition was fast improving. Hospital authorities said that they suggested that he be under observation for a couple of more days.

But the family had decided to take him to Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, the Salem Division of Southern Railways has lauded the efforts of the loco pilot Sujay who rescued the foreigner from the railway track near the railway over bridge at Nanjundapuram. Sources said that the pilot would be honoured.
