Tirupur to host 42nd international knit fair from May 11

Tirupur will host the 42nd India International Knit Fair from May 11. The exhibition will showcase a wide variety of knitted apparel products and cotton-blended garments.

A. Shaktivel, chairman of the India Knitfair Association, said that on display at the three-day fair will be trendy women’s wear, knitted t-shirts, skirts, blouses knitwear, casuals and children wear.

65 buyers and 100 buying agents from all over the world, especially from Australia, Dubai, Brazil, and Japan will participate in the fair.

Union Textile Secretary, Rashki Verma, will address an Exporters’ Meet on May 10, and inaugurate the fair the next day in the presence of the chairman of the Apparel Export Promotion Council chairman, Ashok G Rajani, and Tarun Bakshi, Managing Director of Triburg USA Inc.
