Left candidates announced by Communist Party of India

Communist Party of India and the Communist Party of India-Marxist have announced nominees for the three Assembly constituencies they are contesting as part of the People Welfare Alliance-DMDK coalition.

According to sources, the CPI, which has got the Valparai reserved constituency, has nominated the district reporter of it Janasakthi , A.P. Manibharathi, as the candidate. The CPI(M) has nominated its Coimbatore district secretary V. Ramamoorthy for the Kavundampalayam constituency, and trade union leader C. Padmanabhan for the Coimbatore South Assembly constituency.
