Power Outage Announced for Tomorrow in Madukkarai, Saravanampatti, and Sengathurai Sub-stations

Electricity Board announces power cut in various areas of Coimbatore on October 3rd from 9 AM to 4 PM due to monthly maintenance work at Madukkarai, Saravanampatti, and Sengathurai sub-stations.


Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced a power outage for tomorrow (Oct. 3) in several areas of Coimbatore due to monthly maintenance work at three sub-stations. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 4 PM.

In Madukkarai sub-station area, the following localities will face power disruption: K.G. Chavadi, Palathurai, Outer Ring Road, Chavadiputhur, Kaliyapuram, Ettimadai, MGR Nagar, Sugunapuram, P.K. Puthur, Madukkarai, Arivoli Nagar, and a part of Kovaiputhur.

For the Saravanampatti sub-station, the affected areas include Saravanampatti, Amman Kovil, Chinna Vedampatti, Krishnapuram, Sivanandapuram, Vellakinaru, Urumandampalayam, G.N. Mill, Subramaniyampalayam, K.N.G. Puthur, Maniyakarampalayam, Lakshminar, Nachimuthu Nagar, and Jayaprakash Nagar.

In the Sengathurai sub-station area, the power cut will affect Sengathurai, Kadanpadi, Aero Nagar, and Mathiyazhagan Nagar.

The Electricity Board has advised residents and businesses in these areas to plan accordingly for the scheduled power outage.
