Man Caught Performing Obscene Act in Public, Chased Away by Resident in Coimbatore

A 45-year-old man was caught performing an obscene act in public, targeting women in Pappanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore. A local resident intervened, beating and chasing away the perpetrator.


Coimbatore: In a shocking incident that occurred in the early hours of today, a 45-year-old man was caught performing an indecent act in public at Rangammal Kovil Street in Pappanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore. The man, who arrived on a bicycle, was seen exposing himself and engaging in obscene behavior while watching women who were drawing kolams, going to shops, or heading to work.

Alarmed by this brazen act, a local resident took matters into his own hands. He confronted the perpetrator, beating him with a stick and chasing him away from the area. The swift action of the resident prevented further distress to the women in the vicinity.

Subsequent inquiries revealed that the man had been involved in similar acts in various locations over the past few years. This recurring behavior has raised serious concerns among the public about the safety of women and children in the area.
