Corporation Commissioner Inspects Development Projects in Central Zone of Coimbatore

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabhakaran IAS conducted an on-site inspection of ongoing development projects in the central zone areas of Coimbatore on September 4, 2024.

During the inspection, the Commissioner visited Ward No. 47 in the Central Zone of Coimbatore Corporation.



He examined the renovation work of stormwater drains in Sanganoor Main Road area, Nalvar Layout area, and Rathnapuri, B.M. Samy Colony areas.



He also inspected the community center located in Kamarajapuram area and instructed the concerned officials to make it available for public use soon.



Following this, Commissioner Prabhakaran visited the newly constructed children's play park in Selvakumarasamy Garden area of Ward No. 47 in the Central Zone. He reviewed the progress and instructed the concerned engineer to complete the work quickly and with quality.



Earlier, the Commissioner inspected the children's play park set up under the bridge on Amar Jeeva Road in Rathnapuri, which falls under Ward No. 47.

Assistant Commissioner Senthilkumaran, Ward Councilor Prabhakaran, Assistant Executive Engineer Hemalatha, Zonal Health Officer Gunasekaran, Assistant Engineer Saravanakumar, and other Corporation officials accompanied the Commissioner during these inspections.
