Power Outage Scheduled for Devanurpudur and Muthugoundanpudur Substations Tomorrow

Scheduled maintenance work at Devanurpudur and Muthugoundanpudur substations will result in power cuts in several areas on September 2 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Residents are advised to plan accordingly.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a scheduled power outage in various parts of Coimbatore district on September 2, 2023, due to maintenance work at two substations.

Executive Engineer Devanand has informed that the Devanurpudur substation will undergo maintenance work tomorrow. As a result, power supply will be suspended from 9 AM to 4 PM in the following areas: Devanurpudur, Sellappampalayam, Karathur, Ravanapuram, Andiyur, Chinna Bomman Salai, Pandiyan Karadu, Erisenampatti, Vallakundapuram, Valaiyapalayam, S. Nallur, Arthanari Palayam, and Pungamuthur.

Similarly, the Muthugoundanpudur substation will be undergoing monthly maintenance work on the same day. Power supply will be cut off from 9 AM to 4 PM in Neelampur, Anna Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Kulathur, Muthugoundanpudur Road, a portion of the Bypass Road, and parts of Kurumbapalayam.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to plan their activities accordingly and take necessary precautions during the power outage period.
