Women from Om Shanti organization tie Rakhi to Coimbatore BJP District President

Coimbatore: In a display of communal harmony and festive spirit, women from the Om Shanti organization visited the BJP district office in Coimbatore on August 19 to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. The delegation, led by Brahma Kumari sister Gautami, tied Rakhi to Coimbatore BJP District President J. Ramesh Kumar.

The ceremony took place at the BJP district office, where the women from Om Shanti extended their Raksha Bandhan greetings to Ramesh Kumar. The tying of Rakhi, a sacred thread symbolizing the bond between brothers and sisters, is a significant gesture during this Hindu festival.

Former MLA Challenger Dorai was also present during the event, adding to the significance of the occasion.
