Coimbatore Residents Demand Action Against Reckless Bike Stunt Performers

Residents across Coimbatore, including Trichy Road and Avinashi Road, are urging immediate police action against bikers performing dangerous stunts and threatening public safety.

Coimbatore: A rising concern among Coimbatore residents is the increase in reckless stunts performed by bikers in various parts of the city, including Trichy Road, Avinashi Road, Race Course, and Kodiccial areas. These individuals, often removing their number plates to evade police detection and wearing masks to cover their faces entirely, are recording their antics and sharing videos on an Instagram page named c_l_u_t_c_h__breaker.

The public is troubled as these bikers choose not only designated places for stunts but also public spaces, causing disturbances and threatening the safety of residents. These actions have prompted a collective call from the community demanding stringent actions from the Coimbatore City Police. The residents suggest confiscating the vehicles involved and revoking the driver’s licenses of those found guilty of such irresponsible behavior.

The community hopes that strong law enforcement measures will curb the dangerous activities that compromise the safety of the public. Police have been urged to use robust enforcement to detain these individuals and prevent further incidents, ensuring public spaces remain safe for all.
