Coimbatore: Minister Muthusamy kicked off the preparatory works for the DMK's grand festival at Codissia Ground in Coimbatore on June 10. The grand event, celebrating DMK's alliance victory in all 40 Tamil Nadu and Puducherry constituencies, is scheduled for the evening of June 15.
DMK Secretary Na. Karthik, Thondamuthur Ravi, and Commander Murugesan were among the many who attended the foundation stone-laying ceremony.
The event, a thanksgiving for the unanimous victory, is expected to host thousands of attendees. DMK leader MK Stalin, along with 40 alliance party leaders, will be present. The grand festival highlights the collective efforts of the DMK leadership, particularly under the guidance of Stalin, marking a strong display of the party's cohesion and public connection, which contributed to their sweeping victory.
As the preparations unfold, the DMK aims not only to celebrate their electoral success but also to affirm their stronghold in Tamil Nadu politics, challenging opposition factions effectively.
