Coimbatore: In a shocking incident near Siruvani Tank Road, Sulur, Coimbatore, a house was burglarized, and valuable jewelry was stolen. Ravichandran, aged 44, who resides in the area, had gone to his farm near Udumalpet with his family on May 18. Upon returning on the evening of May 24, he was startled to find the front door of his house forcefully opened.
Upon entering, Ravichandran discovered that his wardrobe had been ransacked, and items including a gold chain and a ring, totaling two sovereigns, were missing. It appears the thief or thieves had rifled through the wardrobe to find the valuables.
Ravichandran reported the incident to the Sulur Police Station the previous day, May 24. Following his complaint, the police registered a case and have begun investigations to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s). The local community is alarmed by the increase in theft incidents in their area and are calling for enhanced security measures.
