An IT employee from Coimbatore named Mahalakshmi, aged 21, was found dead due to health issues on an Omni bus arriving in Gandhipuram from Chennai on May 15.
Coimbatore: In a tragic incident early on May 15, an IT employee was found deceased amidst her journey on an Omni bus. The bus, which embarked from Chennai on the night of May 14, reached Gandhipuram the following morning, where the woman was discovered lifeless in her seat.
Further reports from the Kattoor police, who were informed about the incident shortly after, confirmed that the deceased was Mahalakshmi, a 21-year-old resident of Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore. Mahalakshmi had been working for an IT firm in Chennai and her unfortunate demise was attributed to health-related issues.
Mahalakshmi's body was subsequently retrieved and sent to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for further examination. The Kattoor police are continuing the investigation to determine the precise cause of health issues leading to her death.
