Insects Found in Brandy Bottle at TASMAC Shop in Dharapuram Causes Stir

A customer in Dharapuram discovered insects inside a brandy bottle he purchased from a TASMAC shop on Udumalai Road, leading to an exchange and further complaints.


Tirupur: A customer at a TASMAC shop on Udumalai Road in Dharapuram experienced a shock when he found insects floating inside a bottle of brandy he had just bought.

The incident occurred last Thursday when the customer, after paying Rs. 150 for the brandy, noticed the foreign objects upon inspecting the contents.

He immediately showed the contaminated bottle to the salesperson, who replaced it with another bottle. When asked about further action, the salesperson assured that the contaminated bottle would be kept aside and returned to the company for investigation. This unusual discovery led to concerns among local consumers and raised questions regarding the quality control of products sold at TASMAC shops.
