Coimbatore: A crucial training session focusing on the safe execution of cleaning works within manholes and sewage tanks took place today at the RS Puram Corporation Kalaiarangam.
Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS spearheaded the training, ensuring that the activities are conducted securely and efficiently.
Present at the event were Deputy Corporation Commissioner K. Sivakumar, City Engineer Anbalagan, City Health Officer Dr. Boopathi, Dr. Kamaraj from the NGO NERD, assistant commissioners, regional health officers, health inspectors, and sanitation workers.
The session aimed to equip the municipal staff with the necessary knowledge and techniques to maintain safety standards while performing their duties.
