Coimbatore: In light of the upcoming Kumbhabhishekam at the Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya scheduled for the 22nd, Coimbatore police have ramped up security measures. The city’s police force is on high alert, with bomb disposal experts divided into four separate units, patrolling around the clock.

Additionally, heightened surveillance is being conducted in areas with heavy footfall, employing sniffer dogs and metal detectors to ensure public safety. These stringent security arrangements reflect the nationwide measures being taken for this significant religious event.
