Senior citizens dressed up as Krishna and Radha to celebrate Janmashtami in Ananya’s Nana Nani Homes

At the Gokulashtami celebrations held on the occasion of Krishna Jayanthi at Ananya's Nana Nani Homes, a resident of Senior Citizens' Colony in Thaliyur, senior citizens, dressed as Kannan and Radha, welcomed Lord Krishna by dancing and singing.



Coimbatore: Senior citizens, dressed as Kannan and Radha, welcomed Lord Krishna on the occasion of Gokulashtami at the Senior Citizens' Quarters in Thaliyur.



On the occasion of Krishna Jayanthi, gokulashtami was celebrated in a grand manner at Ananya's Nananani Homes, a senior citizens' quarters in Thaliyur in Coimbatore district.



On this occasion, go puja, Navakalasa Thirumanjanam and Vishwaroopam darshan were also held in the morning.



This was followed by the golden chariot thiruveedhi procession in the evening.

In this, the senior citizens dressed up as Radha Krishna welcomed Lord Sri Krishna by dancing and singing.



All the senior citizens here came together and celebrated the festival with great fanfare. Dr Uma Maheshwari Yuvaraj, Director of the Administration, presided over the function and prasadam was distributed to all the devotees at the end of the function.
