MNM Poster campaign in the city claims Kamal Hasan as the political heir of late MGR

Even as MGR's 106th birth anniversary is being observed today, a poster campaign has been started by Makkal Needhi Maiyam claiming actor- politician Kamal Hasan as the real political heir of late MGR.



Coimbatore: Even as MGR's 106th birth anniversary is being observed today, a poster campaign has been started by Makkal Needhi Maiyam claiming actor- politician Kamal Hasan as the real political heir of late MGR.

The 106th birth anniversary of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK founder MGR is being celebrated by the AIADMK across the state. On this occasion, various political parties, public, and MGR fans and the film fraternity have been garlanding his statue.



In the meanwhile, a poster campaign started by Makkal Needhi Maiyam (MNM) at the 80th ward of Coimbatore South constituency on the occasion of MGR's birth anniversary claims "Nammavar Kamal Haasan is the political 'Varisu' of MGR, who did politics of 'Thunivu'".



The posters carried a photo of young Kamal Haasan with MGR in the film "Anantha Jothi" and a photo of MGR presenting the award to Kamal Hasan.



The posters thus put up on behalf of Makkal Needhi Maiyam (MNM) has created a flutter in the city.
