Young man from Delhi threatened and robbed near Eachanari; police lookout for three suspects

Birendra Singh, who works as an electrician near Eachanari, was walking after work when three miscreants intercepted him and snatched Rs 6,000 in cash and a mobile phone.


Coimbatore: Birendra Singh, who hails from Delhi, is working as an electrician in Eachanari area of Coimbatore.

After completing his work late last night, he walked towards his hostel on the back road of a college near Eachanari. At that time, three unidentified persons who were passing by intercepted him and threatened him.

They snatched Rs 6,000 in cash, a mobile phone, a credit card, a driving license and an ATM card from him and fled.

The victim, Birendra Singh, has lodged a complaint with the Podanur police station. Based on his complaint, the police registered a case and are on the lookout for the miscreants involved in the robbery.
