Coimbatore Car Blast: Seven persons linked to Jameza Mubeen being questioned using CCTV footage visuals

The police are examining CCTV footage near Jamesha Mubin's house. At around 11.25 PM on Saturday, five persons, including Jamesha Mubin, were seen carrying a bag from his house.


Coimbatore: One person was charred to death after a cylinder in his car exploded near Kottai Easwaran temple in the wee hours of Sunday. The police formed six special squads to investigate the death.

Based on this, it was revealed that the deceased has been identified as Jamesha Mubin, a resident of J.M. Nagar, Ukkadam. During a raid at the house of Jamesha Mubin, explosives used to make country-made bombs such as potassium nitrate, aluminium powder, Charcoal and sulphur were seized.

Later, CCTV cameras in the areas where Jamesha Mubin's house is located were examined. On Saturday night, it was found that there were four persons with Jamesha Mubin and the special cell police are investigating the matter.

At around 11.25 PM on Saturday, five persons, including Jamesha Mubin, were seen carrying unidentified objects from his house.

The special cell police are interrogating seven persons now to ascertain who are the four other persons in the CCTV footage. Similarly, the investigation has been intensified to find out who is behind Jamesha Mubin.
