Wearing masks has been made mandatory at the Government Medical College Hospital, Tirupur from Saturday and awareness is being created among the public coming to the hospital.
Tirupur: As covid-19 cases have started spreading again across Tamil Nadu, Medical and Health Minister MA Subramaniam has said that doctors in government hospitals and health facilities across Tamil Nadu will be attending to the doctors. The nurses yesterday issued an order making it mandatory for in-house and outgoing patients coming to the hospital to wear masks.
Accordingly, mandatory wearing of masks in government hospitals has been implemented from Saturday.
Accordingly, a banner has been put up all over the premises of the Government Medical College Hospital in Peruchipalayam area of Tirupur stating that wearing of masks is mandatory.
Mandatory for the public to wear masks when they come to the hospital. The hospital staff are also creating awareness that the general public should extend full cooperation to the management of the government hospital in the wake of the rapid spread of covid-19.
