Covid-19 on the rise in Coimbatore; 129 cases reported as of March 22

18 fresh cases have been reported in the city as of Wednesday with a consecutive rise in fresh cases. About 21 fresh cases were reportedly identified in Coimbatore district on March 21, Tuesday.


Coimbatore: Covid-19 cases continue to rise in Coimbatore with a total number of 129 cases reported as of March 22, as per a report generated by the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

18 fresh cases have been reported in the city as of Wednesday with a consecutive rise in fresh cases. About 21 fresh cases were reportedly identified in Coimbatore district on March 21, Tuesday.

Tamil Nadu documented a surge in Covid-19 cases with a total of 480 cases as of Wednesday, reportedly an instantaneous hike by over 40 fresh cases. Though there are no deaths due to Covid reported across the State, the Coimbatore district administration is taking all necessary precautions.
