Doctors advise Covid-19 survivors to wait for 2 months before getting vaccinated

Coimbatore: The second wave of Coronavirus in Tamil Nadu was very intense. Coimbatore had increasing number of cases and due to the continuous action taken by the government cases have decreased to less than 500.

Vaccination is also in full swing. Doctors have advised those recovering from this condition to be vaccinated at least six weeks or two months later.

The second wave of Coronavirus had a bigger impact on Coimbatore than any other district in Tamil Nadu. The number of daily coronavirus infections, which was over 5,000 last May, has now dropped to less than 500 per day due to intensive measures by the district and municipality administration and the health department. Although the impact of the disease has diminished, people have realized that vaccination is the only solution to save lives. People are thus crowding at the vaccination centers. It has been reported that people with coronavirus infections, who have symptoms such as colds and flu, may want to get vaccinated without proper testing and fear of treatment.

Doctors have advised that the public should not be afraid to take the vaccine and should be vaccinated only after proper testing and those who have been cured may be on medication such as antibiotics and steroids. So they need to regain their health for at least two months and then go for vaccination. Therefore doctors say those who have recovered from the infection do not need to rush vaccines. Doctors have advised people to wait and get vaccinated after a proper examination
