4 lawyers died due to Covid-19 in the last three days in Coimbatore


Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, in the last 3 days, four lawyers who were being treated for Covid-19 infection have died.

Court staff and lawyers, court proceedings have been suspended for the past 18 years as Covid-19 has increased. Bail petitions are heard online only one day a week.

So far, more than 80 employees and more than 50 lawyers have been affected. Palanisamy, 79, a senior lawyer from Kavundampalayam, died on the 20th. Four lawyers have been killed in the last 3 days alone.Christopher, 65, Sulochana, 78, from Mettupalayam, Ayyasamy, 64 from Dharapuram, Rajendran, 56 from RS Puram died due to Covid-19.
