Kumaraguru Institutions creates a 375-Bed Covid Isolation Centre at campus
Coimbatore: The Kumaraguru Institutions responded to the request of the Government to support the efforts of the local Government agencies and hence offered to turn its campus hostel facilities into a 375-bed Covid Isolation Center.
Arrangements have also been made to host a dedicated team of doctors, nurses and other support staff of frontline workers to attend to the housed patients in the campus.

The facility was surveyed by the Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, R Sakkarapani, along with the District Revenue Officer and other Health and District officials. The facility is expected to become operational in a couple of days. The Institution will work with Government officials and agencies to provide unstinted support in the prevailing critical scenario.
