About 49 people including a bank official test positive for Covid-19 in Kinathukadavu; Total cases in the area rises to 904

The total number of Covid-19 cases in Kinathukadavu area has risen from 855 to 904.


Coimbatore: Kinathukadavu and surrounding areas in Coimbatore are witnessing a spike of Covid-19 cases on a daily basis. As of Thursday, 855 people were infected with Covid-19 in Kinathukadavu.

According to reports by the Health Department, 49 people including a bank official have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Kinathukadavu in a single day spike. As a result, the number of Covid-19 infections in the Kinathukadavu area has risen from 855 to 904.



Since a bank employee near the old bus stand branch in Kinathukadavu tested positive for Covid-19, the entire bank was sprayed with disinfectants by the municipality administration.

The health department also said that 76 people had been tested for Covid-19 at the special testing camp at Immidipalayam and Serripalayam near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore.
