Anamalai and Pollachi records 71 Covid-19 positive cases today - Health Department Officials

The health department is continuously taking serious preventive measures in areas where the disease spread the most.


Coimbatore: Covid-19 infection is increasing day by day in Pollachi and its surrounding areas. In an effort to tackle this, the government has ordered a mini curfew from tomorrow.

Meanwhile, a total of 49 people have been confirmed with Covid-19 infection with 16 in Pollachi Town area today, 10 in the North Zone and 23 people in the South Zone.

Similarly 22 people in Anaimalai area turned positive for Covid-19 making a total of 71 people tested in the area.

The health department is continuously taking serious preventive measures in areas where the disease spread the most. Infected areas are also being isolated and those in infected areas are being closely monitored.

Health officials have advised the public to be vigilant as the infection is increasing day by day in Pollachi areas in Coimbatore.
