New Restrictions For Covid-19 in Tamilnadu from April 9th


 Chennai: The TN State Health Department has announced new set of restrictions due to the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state and country again. Many experts and public believe that this rise is due to the massive political gatherings and subsequent travel to other districts. These restrictions are applicable till April 30th, 2021

- Marriages can be conducted with max 100 people 

- Max 50 people can participate in funerals

- 50% seating capacity will be allowed in theatres 

- religious festivals in temples will not be permitted w.e.f 10.04.21

- Retail vegetable shops in cmbt will not be permitted w.e.f 10.04.21

- Buses will be operated only with seating. Standing will not be permitted 

- Malls, Shopping centers will be permitted until 11:00Pm With 50% capacity 

- Hotels, Tea Shops will be permitted until 11:00Pm with 50% capacity 

- Recreation clubs will be permitted with 50% capacity 

- Entertainment Parks, Amusement Parks, Zoological Parks, Exhibitions wil be permitted with 50% capacity

- Entertaiment, Social based, Politics based events will be allowed with 200 people max in indoor theatres

- Audience will be restricted in playground during matches and tournaments

- Swimming pools will be allowed for training purposes mandatory sop should be followed

- Devotees will be allowed until 08:00 Pm

- RCPTR should be mandatory taken for serial and cinema crew

- 3 people along with driver will be allowed in paid taxis 

- 2 people along with driver will be allowed in autos

- E pass will be monitored for the people coming from other states.or countries
