Man dies of COVID-19 infection in Pollachi

A 56-year-old man from Pollachi was admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore for COVID-19 treatment three days ago. He died yesterday.


Coimbatore: Pollachi: A 56-year-old man from Pollachi was admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore for COVID-19 treatment three days ago.He died yesterday.

In addition to this, 10 people have been confirmed with COVID-19 in Jothi Nagar and New Project Road areas near Pollachi and are being treated at Coimbatore Hospital.

Health officials are monitoring the affected areas and taking preventive measures. Corona infection is on the rise again across Tamil Nadu and the large rallies for elections by all parties is one of the major reasons for the rise in viral infection.
