3316 frontline staff including medical staff registered to be vaccinated against coronavirus: Coimbatore Medical College Hospital Dean Dr. Kalidas
Coimbatore: Coimbatore Medical College Hospital Dean Dr. Kalidas said that 3316 frontline staff including medical staff registered to be vaccinated against coronavirus. The second phase of coronavirus vaccination rehearsal camps across the country is taking place starting today.

As a part of this coronavirus vaccine rehearsal camp is being started in Coimbatore district at 5 places namely Government Medical College Hospital, Mettupalayam Government Hospital, Karpagam Hospital, Kinathukadavu and Primary Health Centers. A special room with a waiting room for coronavirus vaccination has been allotted on the fourth floor of the main building of the Coimbatore Government Hospital.

Coimbatore Medical College Hospital Dean Kalidas told reporters that Coimbatore Government Hospital has a plan to vaccinate government hospital doctors, nurses and technicians in the first phase and 3316 Coimbatore government hospital staff have been registered for vaccination. It is to be noted that the first phase of the coronavirus vaccination campaign was held on January 2 at 5places in Coimbatore
