Hence the names and details of medical college students working in government and private hospitals, health department officials and inspectors working in private hospitals were being collected for the last one month.

Coimbatore District Deputy Director of Health Ramesh Kumar said that “the details of 32,000 people in Coimbatore district have been uploaded online for vaccination in the first phase.â€
He said that the details of the health department employees are being collected and the vaccine is expected to be given after the second week of January.
