Coronavirus: Students with fever and cold symptoms should avoid attending school - Tamil Nadu School Education Department

Coimbatore: A circular has been issued to raise awareness on prevention of the spread of coronavirus infections in India and on behalf of the school department.

Coimbatore: A circular has been issued to raise awareness on prevention of the spread of coronavirus infections in India and on behalf of the school department. 

The Central Government has advised all State Chief Secretaries and School Secretaries to raise awareness of the coronavirus. On this advice, the Tamil Nadu School Education Department has sent a circular to all district education officers.

The circular said:

Awareness should be raised about coronavirus amongst students. Students should be advised to use handkerchiefs during coughing and sneezing and to keep their hands washed well and clean. It was also suggested that attending school should be avoided in case of flu-like symptoms.
