They do a hardcore devotion to the Goddess Durga and also aim at losing weight. However, following a strict liquid diet is not an easy task. One should try to drink something which will nourish their body and also provide the energy. While we are not eating anything for such a long period, we are depriving our body with the necessary fuel that helps to carry out the activities. Thus, it is not healthy to follow such an extensive period of liquid diet. You can munch light snacks and fruits as well, while you are on a liquid diet. Besides this, you should drink energy giving fluids.

Listed below are some of the healthy drinks that one can sip during Navratri fasting:

Almond milk: Almond milk is a nourishing and healthy drink to sip while you are observing a fast. Almonds are energy giving and milk helps to provide strength to the body. However, a lassi made with mint and yoghurt can help you stay refreshing all day long. It is enriched with fibre, protein, calcium, iron and vitamin C which provides essential nutrients to your body. It even helps you to lose weight! Thus, don’t skip this drink while you are on a weight loss Navratri fasting.

Grape juice: Grape juice is one of the most interesting beverages. It is loaded with nourishing components. Grapes have enough of vitamin C. It helps to boost the immunity of the body. Besides this, it also helps to stay fit and healthy as it is antioxidant in nature. Thus, sip a glass of grapefruit juice once in a day.
