It leads to discolouration of the skin, dark patches, acne, itching etc. Most of us take care of our face but often avoid taking care of our hands and legs. It is quite visible as the colour of our face skin is quite different from the colour of our legs and hands. We must realise that it is important to take care of our legs and hands equally, as we take care of our face skin. When our legs and hands get exposed to sunlight, pollution, dirt etc. they often undergo severe damage. Thus, some home remedies can help to get rid of the pigmented skin of hands and legs.

Home remedies to treat hands and legs pigmentation naturally

Potato

Potato helps to even the skin tone and bring the glow to the skin. For this, you need one potato and grate it. Extract the juice from the potato and apply it to the pigmented area. Leave it for half an hour and take a bath. Don’t forget to moisturise your skin after that. 

Apple cider vinegar

It is one solution to any great skin problems. Use a tbsp. of apple cider vinegar and 2 tsp. of water. Mix them together. Apply this solution to your hands and legs properly. Leave it for 5-10 minutes. Now wash your body with lukewarm water.

Lemon scrub

Take some lemon juice, honey and sugar. Mix them well in a bowl. You can even add lemon peel powder to the solution. Now scrub your hands and legs along with it. Wash your body after proper scrubbing. It will help to even the skin tone.

Aloe vera

Extract some gel from aloe vera leaf. Apply this gel to your hands and legs. Leave it for half an hour and wash it off with plain water. You can even add almond oil to aloe vera gel and apply it to the pigmented area. However, make sure you do not go out directly after applying this. Wahs it of properly and moisturise your skin.

Orange peel

Oranges being rich in vitamin C are great for skin. Take some orange peel powder and some yoghurt. Mix them well together. Apply it to your hands and legs evenly. Keep scrubbing for 15 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. You will notice the difference.

These are some of the best ways to get rid of skin pigmentation. You can try cucumber pack as well. Besides this, one needs to drink plenty of water to stay well hydrated and avoid skin problems.
