Coimbatore: Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced that the curfew will be extended till July 5 with some further relaxations in Tamil Nadu.

Based on the spread of the epidemic in the districts, the curfew was extended till 5-7-2021 6 am, with various relaxations following the reduction in the spread of the disease in most districts of Tamil Nadu, with the current curfew ending at 6 am on 28-6-2021.

Accordingly, the relaxations announced with effect from 28-06-2021 in 11 Category-1 districts including Coimbatore, Nilgiris and Tiruppur are as follows:

Category 1 - (11 Districts)

Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai districts.

In view of the declining cases of COVID-19 in Category 1 districts, some of the shops / activities which have already been sanctioned will be given time relaxation till 7.00 pm and

the following activities will also be allowed:

*Only parcel service will be allowed in tea shops from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Shops selling electrical goods, bulbs, cables, switches and wires will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Hardware stores will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Shops selling textbooks and stationery will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Shops selling shoes will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Utensil shops, accessories, photo / video, laundry, sewing presses, fancy stores, beauty parlours, xerox shops will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm

*Sales and repair shops for household appliances such as mixers, grinders, televisions will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Sales and vehicle repair centers of automobile dealers will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Auto spare parts shops will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Shops selling mobile phones and related items will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Shops selling computer hardware, software, and electronic components (Computer Hardware, Software, Electronic Appliances Spare Parts) will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Parcel service only at roadside food stalls will be allowed from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*Shops selling construction materials will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

*All essential departments of the government will be allowed to operate with 100% staff. Other government offices will be allowed to operate with 50% staff.

*Sub-Registrar's Offices will be allowed to operate with 100% staff.

*All private office companies, with 50% employees will be allowed.

*Banks and insurance companies will be allowed to operate ATMs with 50% of employees.

*SEBI and its operations will be allowed to operate with 50% staff.

*Export companies, companies that manufacture and deliver to export companies will be allowed through constant monitoring and operation with 100% staff.

*Other factories will be allowed to operate.

*IT / service companies will be allowed to work with 20% IT staff.

*Housing Company (HFCs) will be allowed to operate with 33% of employees

*Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFCs), Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) 33% will be allowed to operate

*Offices of construction companies will be allowed to operate with 33% employees

*All types of construction work will be allowed to operate.

*Beauty salons and salons (Beauty Parlor, Saloons, Spas) will be allowed to operate from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm with the condition that only 50% of the customers will be allowed at a time without air conditioning.

*Sports Coaching camps and competitions will be open from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm and will be open to the public without spectators.

*Admissions related work will be allowed in schools, colleges and universities and training centers.

*Parks and playgrounds under the control of government parks and local bodies will be allowed to operate only from 6.00 am to 9.00 am for walking.

*Parcel services only will be allowed from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm at shops selling sweets and savouries.

*E-Seva Centers will run as usual.

 

*Food delivery companies selling through e-commerce and parcel service in restaurants and hotels (hotels, restaurants and bakeries) only will be allowed from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm.

*All other e-commerce service companies (E-commerce) can operate from 06.00 am to 09.00 pm.

*Post-production work for movies will be allowed. Only 100 individuals, including artists and staff filming and filming in the open air, after undergoing Corona RTPCR tests will then be admitted.

*In theaters, maintenance work will be allowed only one day a week with the permission of the concerned Tahsildar
