Women can apply for AMMA scooter - Coimbatore Collector Rajamani

Also subsidy up to Rs. 31,250 will be given todisabled beneficiaries. Women can only buy a vehicle that has 125 cc capacity and without gear. Working women, employees working in packages in government offices, working in organizational and non-governmental organizations, women's self-help group members from charities and community organizations, representatives of rural poverty alleviation associations, self-employed women, can apply for a two-wheeler under this scheme.

Only beneficiaries between the ages of 18 and 45 with a driver's license can apply. Education eligibility has been completely relaxed. Annual income should be within Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand. Preference will be given to unmarried women over 35 years of age, widows, women abandoned by their husbands, downtrodden and tribal women. There is no charge for applications. Applications will be accepted at Panchayat Union Offices, Municipal Offices, Corporation Offices and Zonal Offices from 10 am to 5.45 pm.

Certificate for age proof, address proof, Aadhar Card, Copy of Voter ID Card, Copy of driving licenses, employment certificate, income certificate obtained from the employer should be attached. Professionals should apply along with the relevant income certificate, passport size photograph, caste certificate if they are from backward and minority communities. Those who have already applied do not have to re-apply.
