Chennai: The School Education Department of Tamil Nadu Government has announced that the 10th public exam is scheduled to be held between June 1 and 12.


Chennai: The School Education Department of Tamil Nadu Government has announced that the 10th public exam is scheduled to be held between June 1 and 12.

When COVID-19 lockdown was implemented, the public examination for Std 10 was postponed indefinitely. Now, with the curfew being relaxed in the state, the Education Department plans to hold the examinations from June 1. While 11th std examinations are slated to begin from June 2, the 12th grade students who failed to appear for the exam held on March 24 can reappear on June 4. Subsequently, the timetable for standard 10 exams has been released.

When contacted, the District Educational Officer here informed that official confirmation of the announcement is yet to be received.
