The commencement of the academic year was marked by a heartwarming gesture, emphasizing the welcoming and supportive environment of the college.

Classes for first-year students commence today at several government arts colleges across Tamil Nadu. As a result, classes for first-year students have begun at Government Arts College in Coimbatore, Thondamuthur Government Arts College, and Puliyakulam Government Arts College.
In this case, the senior students welcomed the freshers who visited the government college near the government hospital on the first day with flower showers, sandalwood and paneer.
They stated that it was an effort to overcome fear and differences among students. A socialising circle to promote a healthy learning environment and to develop nourishing friendships.
It should be noted that only 1494 students have been admitted to 1626 seats in the first year , and the consultation for the remaining seats will take place from today to the 7th of June.
