'Management Fest' jointly organized by Sri Krishna College of Technology & Sri Krishna Arts and Science College

Around 400 Students across 25 colleges in and around Coimbatore have taken part in the event.


Coimbatore: School of Management (SOM), Sri Krishna College of Technology (SKCT), Kovaipudur, and Department of Management Sciences of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College ( SKASC), Kuniamuthur, jointly organised a "Management Fest", an intercollegiate event for UG and PG Students of Management stream.

The management fest was conducted with the objective of encouraging the management students in bringing out a competitive spirit.

Mr R.Hariram, Founder and Managing Partner RMCS LLP, Coimbatore inaugurated the fest and said that winning is not important but learning is. “Learn from the failure. Failure gives many new ideas, strategies and ways to win and sustain” he said.

He insisted the students be consistent and hardworking. The industry needs employees who should be loyal and skilled. Enrich the knowledge and skills which the company expected in the job market and also asked the students to develop a positive spirit.

Around 400 Students across 25 colleges in and around Coimbatore have taken part in the event. A total of 5 events for UG and 5 events for PG was conducted by teams of faculty and students for the outside participants.

During the ceremony, winners were given away prizes along with certificates.

The overall trophy was grabbed by UG Students of Kumaraguru Liberal Arts and for MBA the trophy was won by MBA Students of Tamilnadu Agriculture University.

Principal Dr R. Jagajeevan presided over the function.

CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions, Dr K.Sundararaman delivered the valedictory address. Dr.N. Nirmala Devi, HoD, School of Management, Sri Krishna College of Technology, Prof. P. Rajan, Dean, Department of Management Science. Prof. Julian Ghana Dhas, HoD, Department of Management Science, faculties, students and many others took part in the fest.
