The MoU will facilitate students of KCE to undergo internship and training in the field of Biomedical instruments for Smart Health Care Applications.
Coimbatore: The Department of ETE signed an MoU with Prashan Medical Technologies (PMT) on February 6. The MoU was jointly signed by Dr. P Vijayakumar, Principal KCE and Bhoopathy Sakthivel, COE of Prashan Medical Technologies in Coimbatore.
The MoU between KCE and PMT will provide:
(i) Students of KCE to undergo internship and training in the field of Biomedical instruments for Smart Health Care Applications.
(ii) Partial delivery of topics to the students in the curriculum related to domain of Biomedical Instrumentation.
(iii) Guest lectures delivered by industry experts to students periodically to get them motivated to become competent and successful entrepreneurs.
(iv) Classroom, library and explanatory sessions at its facilities to train/re-train employees of Prashan Medical Technologies.
(v) Opportunity for KCE students to work on live project works, aimed at building confidence and will help them to get prepared for smooth transition from academic to a professional working environment.
The signing of the MoU between KCE and PMT took place in the presence of Dr. C Arvind, Prof. and Head/ETE and Dr. K Sheela Sobana Rani, Prof./ETE.
