Bharathiar University likely to issue PG students mark sheets soon
Coimbatore: PG students pursuing under Bharathiar university likely to get their course completion certificates and mark sheets nearly after 18 months, said the source from varsity. Producing of the same has been put on hold by the university following the protest organised by students against Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal Purohit during the convocation ceremony, over the amendment of CAA bill.
Students federation of India wing from Coimbatore say many students are unable to get jobs and placed under campus. While the same batch students who did not participate in the protest got their jobs, one student who participated in the protest committed suicide over the anger of not getting placed without any certificates. Researcher come professor from the varsity on condition of anonymity, said that the students will soon get their certificates as the university grant commission warned institutions under it and asked them to provide certificates to the students. The students federation of India, however, said if the varsity delays furthermore, it will be the sole responsible for unemployment.
