The World Kshatriya Conference is taking place at Angkorwat in Cambodia on the 24 th & 25 th of November, 2018. Coimbatorean S.Yuvaraj Singh is the international co ordinator for this event. More than a 1000 delegates are slated to attend this event which is being held at the Angkor Era Hotel . Advocate Yuvaraj Singh is associated with the Noble Foundation and the Tanjore Art Gallery.

" The Kshatriyas were the warriors of our ancient land. They were the ones who were responsible for a number of activities in the interest of the people. The temples and forts of yore were constructed by them. All the ancient irrigation projects came up due to their efforts. They provided quality administration at a time when technology was absent. The Kshatriyas sacrificed their time and lives in order to protect women, children and also the weaker sections of the society. They ensured that the basic tenets of Sanatana Dharma were in place during their times.

Peaceful and harmonious co existence was the order of the day under their benign hands. The Kshatriyas spoke a number of languages and belonged to different regions but they ensured that the people were safe under their governance. They never hesitated to lay down their lives in the interest of the country and its people. The security of India was vested in the hands of the brave Kshatriyas from time immemorial, " stated Yuvaraj Singh who has been at the forefront of the movement which hopes to unite all the Kshatriyas in India.

The Kshatriya Rajputs have been known for their valour. Bappa Rawal, Prithviraj Chauhan, Rana Kumbha, Rana Sangha, Rana Pratap and many others resisted the might of the invaders over centuries. A number of them sacrificed their lives in the interest of the country and its freedom. Even the horses that were used by the warrior rulers are part of lore. ' Subhrak ' and ' Chetak ' are the most famous amongst the ' warrior horses'. ' Chetak' was so iconic that Bajaj Auto had named one of their best selling scooters after it.

Anant Pai, the Founder of Amar Chitra Katha has immortalized the stories of a number of warriors. Quite a few folk lores and stories of high literary value in all Indian languages throw a lot of light on the lives and times of these wonderful warriors. Kumbhagarh in Rajasthan is a fort associated with Rana Kumbha and it is endowed with the second longest wall in the world. Many of the palaces, forts, temples and monuments created by the warriors are heritage sites. These historic places have continued to inspire and earn money for generations of Indians.

" A number of kingdoms existed in India and quite a few empires had united these kingdoms. These empires staved of a number of invasions. Unfortunately some of the marauders destroyed a number of edifices that had been created under the benign rule of the rulers of yore. 563 kingdoms existed under the yoke of the Europeans but they functioned on their own. They were integrated in a peaceful manner under the leadership of Sardar Vallabhai Patel post independence.

V.P.Menon had worked tirelessly along with Patel - the leader who unified India. He had assured the rulers that their role and titles would be recognized. However the word of Patel was not kept up by the later day rulers of the country. The privy purse was cancelled by the later day Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The Kshatriyas lost out because of these numerous changes and the loss of their traditional sources of revenue. Therefore they disintegrated and went about by being part of a number of political and social formations, " added Yuvaraj Singh.

The first Kshatriya Mahasabha had been formed in the year 1855 and the seed for liberation was sown alongside. Today there are more than 35 crore Kshatriyas in India. The purpose oriented Yuvaraj Singh was keen to add further, " Today we are blessed with hundreds of organizations which are addressing the cause of the Kshatriyas. There are both Suryavanshi and Chandravanshi Rajputs. Our objective is to provide a platform for all of them.

Everyone will be a leader for we are not going to identify a leader or party. We will work for a common cause. Periodic meetings will play a major role for it will help us to assess emerging situations and move forward. People will be amazed to know that the Kshatriya community in Tamilnadu has assets worth 300,000 crores and the Government has passed a bill for protecting them. "

Yuvaraj Singh is in touch with a number people belonging to the ruling families of the yester years. The conference is an outcome of the several meetings between the members of the Kshatriya clan who hail from different parts of the country. The Raja of Rae Bareli , Raja Rajender Singh is the Chief Guest while the Yuvraj of Awagarh Ambareesh Pal Singh is the Guest of Honour. The Special invitees are G.Bhavani Singh ( President - Bondil ( Rajput ) Association, Tamilnadu ), L.K.Raju ( President - Karnataka Rajya Raju Kshatriya Sangha) and H.Subbanna ( President - Karnataka Thigala Kshatriya Mahasabha ). The National Convenor is Kunwar Ajay Singh and the International Convenors are Srinivasa Rao ( Cambodia ) and Senthil Ponnuswamy ( Dubai ). World Kshatriya Rajput Association, Rana and Rajput Samaj of Great Britain & World Kshatriya Federation are the organizers.

" India was an economic powerhouse under the influence of the Kshatriya rulers. They ensured that the country dominated the maritime trade by offering protection to the mercantile navies which traversed the oceans. This resulted in our culture taking wings and going all around the world. The ruler Suryavarman II concerned with the construction of Angkorwat, the largest Hindu temple complex in the world is of Indian origin. The temple was dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Quite a few connections were brought about earlier too. Thanks to all these inputs our religion, culture, arts , crafts and literature went around the world. Our national epic Ramayana is very popular in the eastern side of the globe. The lack of unity among the Kshatriya community affected our country and therefore others subjugated us. Now, we are bringing the Kshatriyas together in the interest of the nation. This conference aims to integrate the former rulers and Kshatriya leaders around the globe. The conference is an attempt to make them think of their noble past and good deeds carried out by them. Their nature is to sacrifice their all in the interest of India is part of our history. Now, the time has come to get together and this integration is sure to resurrect our national pride, " stated an ebullient Yuvaraj Singh before beginning his Cambodian visit.

Yuvaraj Singh has been a socially conscious person. He has been involved with an App that will help people understand and use all the schemes brought out by the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This Prime Minister App is bililingual ( Tamil & English ). Yuvaraj Singh is also involved with another App which will give all the details connected with homes and orphanages in Coimbatore and its surroundings.

The family of Yuvaraj Singh has a connection with the Senji Samasthanam which was ruled by Raja Desingh. He is now involving himself with the research on Raja Desingh. The conference will take up a number of projects and will also host a business conclave. Coimbatorean Yuvaraj Singh will address the dignitaries at Angkorwat during the conference.

" We hope to bring about unity, positive change and a good network which is aimed at making everyone happy. The wish is to bring about unity among all the Kshatriyas irrespective of language or geography in the interest of one and all. We are beginning on a positive note, " said a cheerful Yuvaraj Singh.
