Huawei's sub-brand, Honor is set to launch the Honor 7X in India by December. Honor's Global President George Zhao stated that the device will be an offline exclusive in the country.
In conversation with IANS, Zhao said, "We will launch Honor 7X in December at such a price that it will have no competitor in that segment". He also talked about the company's need to step up its marketing efforts in India - "We have the capability to out-compete other dominating players in the Indian smartphone market in terms of quality, but our marketing efforts need to improve".
In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.9-inch Full HD display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It will be available in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants and supports expandable storage via microSD card of up to 256GB. it comes equipped with a 16MP + 2MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. The Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3,340mAh battery.
