A week after the release of iOS 11.0.1, and two weeks after the public roll-out of iOS 11, Apple is today pushing out iOS 11.0.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users.
The bug fixing update brings performance improvements and a fix to iPhone 8 users who reported hearing crackling/static noise coming from the earpiece of their device during phone calls and FaceTime calls.
Apple notes that iOS 11.0.2 brings the following…
iOS 11 has added an array of new features, including a enhanced fully redesigned App Store. iOS 11 improves the Photos app by adding the ability to loop Live Photos, and to create long-exposure pictures as well as implementing a new compression method known as HEIF that offers higher quality images at half the storage size on devices.
Control Centre receives a huge redesign with the launch of iOS 11, putting all controls onto one page and adding 3D Touch capabilities. - Maps has a new feature called Do Not Disturb While Driving that uses Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi doppler effect to automatically enable a block to stop notifications from disturbing the user while behind the wheel.
